Which labour migration governance for a more dynamic and inclusive Europe? (LAB-MIG-GOV) (2011 – 2014).

It is a three-year research study funded by Compagnia di San Paolo, Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and Volkswagenstiftung within the call “Europe and Global Challenges”. Through a combination of comparative policy analysis and quantitative research, the research study explores innovative approaches in the field of labour migration. The first year of research produced an analysis of the development and functioning of European policies on labour migration in 6 European countries – France, Germany, Italy, UK, Spain, Sweden – and in Morocco.

The project website, https://labmiggov.fieri.it/ was launched on June 2012. The second year of research focuses on several issues: link between migration policies and public opinions, migration policy-research nexus, immigration governance and its impact on the care sector, highly-skilled migrants.
