FIERI promotes and implements training activities both locally and internationally. At the same time, it participates with its researchers in training activities promoted by other organisations, from local institutions to UN agencies.
Thanks to the interdisciplinarity that distinguishes the working group, FIERI is able to offer skills relating to different disciplinary sectors (legal, political science, sociology, anthropology, etc.).
IThe main targets of the training activities are public decision-makers, civil servants, public and private operators active in the migration sector and, to a lesser extent, students.
The prevailing approach is that of peer-to-peer learning, in which FIERI plays a supporting role in the learning processes by extrapolating, systematising and modelling the knowledge accumulated by those who plan and manage operational interventions and facilitating the exchange of ideas and know-how among different territories and organisations of a varied nature.
