


Yassin Dia is a PhD student in Cultural and Social Anthropology at the University of Milano-Bicocca. She focuses on migrations in Italy and Senegal, transnationalism, and health. Her research interests also include the history of transcultural psychiatry in Senegal and, in particular, the experience of the Centre Hospitalier National Universitaire de Fann (Dakar). Since 2020, she has been working with FIERI, where she was awarded a scholarship (Migricerca 2020) and where she collaborates within several programs and projects (i.e., EWSI – European Website on Integration, Programma “Territori Inclusivi”) She is also a member of the FIERI’s research team that works on discriminations and racism in Italy.
