BIOGRAPHY

Sarah Gainsforth (1980) is an independent researcher, a non-fiction writer and freelance journalist. Her work focuses on housing policies, urban transformations and social and territorial inequality in Italy. She conducts independent research and dissemination activities in urban studies, sociology and critical geography. She is the author of essays and journalistic articles; she currently writes mainly for Internazionale and Il Manifesto. She lives and works in Rome.
