


Eleonora Celoria is an Italian lawyer and a PhD candidate in Immigration Law at the PhD School in “Law and Institutions” at the University of Turin, where she collaborates with the chair of Immigration Law and is tutor of the legal clinic on “Detention and Rights”. Her research focuses on the institution of administrative detention, its implementation at the borders of the European Union and the tensions with the fundamental rights of migrants and asylum seekers. As a lawyer and member of Asgi (Associazione Studi Giuridici sull’Immigrazione), she has four years of experience working in the field with refugees, asylum seekers, unaccompanied minors and victims of trafficking and exploitation.
