For this purpose we use different methods, , from seminars where scholars meet with the people working in the field, to the publication of contributions in generalist magazines and websites, to interviews given to Italian and foreign newspapers and radio stations.
FIERI also makes extensive use of multimedia tools ranging from the creation of videos and documentaries made by professional directors working alongside the research staff, to the production of photographic material during fieldwork.
Of particular relevance is the “Crocevia di sguardi” review, which for almost twenty years has been proposing documentaries on migrations selected in international festivals and subtitled by FIERI to promote their diffusion among the Italian public.
Another fundamental element of the information activity is the European Web Site on Integration of the European Commission of which FIERI has been the contact for Italy since 2008.
