Attitudes to Migrants, Communication and Local Leadership (AMICALL)

The study, funded by the European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals had the following objectives: 1) to produce a clear framework for analysis of local and regional authorities (LRA) best practice in communicating with local citizens about migration and integration and the conditions that facilitate good effective interventions; 2) to engage LRAs in learning exchange on good practice and challenges faced, clarify case for LRA intervention and identify and share LRA best practice; 3) to explore scope for national action to support development of best practice by LRAs; 4) to disseminate guidance and benchmarking tool to LRAs across Europe. The project was coordinated by COMPAS (Oxford) and carried out in collaboration with FIERI, the Central European University of Budapest, EFMS of University of Bamberg, the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset of Madrid.
