The role of services in the immigrant integration process
13 March 2008

The role of services in the immigrant integration process. Tools of inclusion or marginalization? Shock absorbers or reasons for conflict?

The objective of the research was to understand whether the process of integration of foreigners is made easier by the adoption of measures “dedicated” to immigrants or, on the contrary, by their inclusion in the general services intended for the entire population. The research covered all the provincial capitals of Piedmont and focused on three main welfare sectors: school, rental support services, job placement support services.
